These Shipping Terms and Conditions explain the standards and policies we follow regarding product shipment, delivery, and import/export. By placing an order on fudge.ink, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
I. Shipping and Handling Times
All our chocolates are freshly made in small batches. Orders are typically processed within 2 business days.
Slight delays may occur during holidays or peak seasons (such as Valentine’s Day and Christmas), and we will provide updates via email.
Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number to track your shipment progress.
II. Shipping within the United States
Standard Shipping Time: 7 business days
Express Shipping: 3 business days
We partner with the following major carriers to ensure safe and timely delivery of your products:
UPS (United Parcel Service)
FedEx
USPS (United States Postal Service)
Temperature Protection:
In summer or high-temperature regions, we use heat-resistant packaging and cooler bags to ensure the chocolates remain intact during shipment.
For some remote areas or areas with extreme weather, delivery may take 1–2 days longer.
III. International Shipping
We currently offer international shipping to select countries/regions, including Canada, the UK, the EU, Japan, South Korea, and Australia.
International shipping time: Approximately 15 business days, subject to customs and local courier requirements.
International shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout and vary by country, weight, and shipping method.
Customs and Import Duties
All international orders may be subject to import duties, VAT, or customs clearance fees.
These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the product price or shipping costs.
If a package is returned due to rejection or customs delay, we can assist with reshipping, but the buyer will be responsible for the additional cost.
IV. Packaging Standards
All chocolates are packaged in food-grade, airtight packaging with shock and heat protection where necessary.
In summer and for international shipments, we use insulated cartons and condensation gel packs to ensure the freshness of the product during travel.
We believe in environmental protection and use biodegradable materials in some packaging.
V. Restrictions and Special Instructions
We currently do not ship to countries with embargoes or shipping restrictions.
During periods of extreme weather (such as extreme heat or heavy snow), we may temporarily suspend shipping to prevent product damage.
If the recipient’s address is incorrect or no one is present to sign for the package, the package may be returned and we will contact you to reschedule (reshipping fees will apply).
VI. Tracking and After-Sales Support
All orders are accompanied by a tracking number, which you can track in real time through the “My Orders” page or email link.
If your package is lost, delayed, or damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 days of receipt and we will assist you.
VII. Import and Export Compliance
All our chocolates meet FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) food safety standards and USDA agricultural inspection requirements.
Exported products comply with the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the food import regulations of the destination country.
Our international carriers (FedEx International, UPS Worldwide, and DHL Express) are certified to transport food products.
VIII. Updates and Interpretations
These Terms of Carriage may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be effective immediately and posted on this page.
We reserve the right of final interpretation of this policy for any matters not covered herein.
